ZORAH’S white wine “voskì” meaning ‘Gold’ in Armenian is a blend of 2 native varieties which are 100% indigenous to Armenia, ‘Voskéhat’ and ‘Garandmak’. The name ‘Voskì’ is a reference to the Voskéhat grape variety which means ‘A drop of gold’. The grapes for Voskì come from carefully selected ancient ungrafted vineyards at 1400 meters above sea level. Fermentation takes place in rough concrete tanks in which the wine is also aged, for 1 year after which the aging continues for 6 months in the bottles before leaving the winery.
